Pulled out the fake buttons and the one on the right side had wires attached to it. Don't know what it's for

I have a 2015 sr5 prerunner accesscab

If you're a V6 you should be pre wired for fog lights. If you are a 2.7 4 cylinder then you have 0% chance of pre wire.

Good news is you can add OEM fog lights for under $150.

Bad news is if you want an OEM harness that's the only way to get one. It's a fairly easy install. Many have done it.
