Are these sliders too short?

    I have RCI bolt ons, and I wish they were longer on both ends. In a perfect world, they would extend between front and back wheel wells so that a rock or stump does not get wedged up in the gap between tire and slider end.
    But I realize that some people cut back fender body for 35+ tires.

    OP please post some more pics of the attachment points, and see if you can take a measurement of the thickness of the square tubing.

    I’m not a huge off-roader but they look a little short to me.....and Murphy’s Law states that the one time you hit a rock hard, it’ll miss those sliders and crunch your fender or bed corner........

    If there’s room for a decent sized rock to slide off and smash the body between the tire and the end of the slider, then they aren’t fully doing the job. They’re too short and your guy is telling you what he wants you to hear.
