ARE Topper Lead Times

how long are people waiting for their ARE toppers to arrive? I ordered mine three weeks ago and was told to expect 4-5 weeks so I go some time left. Hoping to get it closer to four weeks since camping season starts Memorial Day weekend.

I got the CX with three windoors, fabric liner, and Yak rack.

 

Mine took 5 weeks. Delivered to Albuquerque, NM

I ordered on here in Twin Falls from a very reputable dealer. They initially told me 4 weeks. I called at 3 weeks and they said ARE was backed up by at least a week. I called at 5 weeks. Same story. I finally got it 7 weeks later. the dealer told me ARE is backed up now by at least 3 weeks longer depending on what you order.

 

I just took delivery on my ARE MX earlier this month. According to the ARE dealer I bought my top from, ARE had some issues with one of the shifts demanding more pay. The shift went on strike, so ARE literally fired the entire shift. This was early in this year.

Lead time for my top was estimated at 6 weeks, and it came a bit past that. Quality is good, but not perfect like the V-series I used to have. ARE is still higher quality than Leer or Snugtop though, so it is worth the wait.
