Agreed. I was aware that my local library had back issues but for the sake of convenience I chose to subscribe. I also thought that I might use their other reviews for other products but that really didn't happen.

Internet sales manager and Tacoma/4Runner/Camry owner here. After reading this entire tread, It's amazing that it is so difficult for people to buy the vehicle they want. If anyone wants a great deal and no BS in northeast PA, look me up at Independence Toyota in Hazleton. If it's available, I have no problem ordering or locating the truck of your choice.

When I went in to get my truck, I asked about the "build a truck," and basically what I got from my sales dude was that when you order a truck from them, its not custom built, they just put your name on one that met the specs of what you wanted.

But who really cares if it's built specifically for you or allocated to you from upcoming production? I would be surprised if the OP wanted some config that couldn't be found. There just don't seem to be enough combinations to make that a reality and there are hundreds of these things for sale around a metropolitan area at any given moment. I would think "I want what I want for MSRP" would be a dealer wet dream.

I've collaborated with you recently, and I agree ... you were very easy to deal with. I ended up traveling 315 miles to get my truck, as I decided that I didn't want to wait on a factory order.
