Are TSB covered under warranty?

Are all the TSBs covered under the basic 3 year/36k warranty?

I have the Toyo Platinum 10yr/100k, will TSBs be covered under my extended warranty expires?

 

Many TSBs are limited to years and mileage. These details are listed in the TSB itself and are no cost to you.

Some are just a proven and recommended set of instructions for the tech to do a specific repair for something out of warranty .

 

TSBs are just instructions of how to deal with certain customer complaints.

They are considered 'warranty work' when being used to correct a complaint during the warranty period, whatever you have.

Some have time/mileage restrictions, I think generally related to being a wear item issue.

Outside of the warranty period a TSB can still be applied of course, but you'll pay for it, just like any other work outside of warranty, unless you have a gracious dealer.

It's not a recall, special campaign or otherwise.
