I tried searching the site a bit before joining to ask this question but, I'm replacing my CV's and figured I'd swap out the UCA's at the same time in order to have fresh ball joints. The stock uca's have been fine and I'd prefer to buy one of the many OEM take off uca's for sale out there, however you dont see many fresh ones off 2011's at this point.
My question is: are the uca's the same across all years 05-23? I've seen some indication that they are not, however all the aftermarket options seem to suggest they fit both the gen 2 and gen 3 models.
If someone can answer this or provide a link to another forum where this was discussed, I'd greatly appreciate it.
    Thank you for your time!

SCS f5's with 33" Ridge Grapplers. 20" S8 mounted in bumper, squadron sport fog lights, squadron pro backup lights, LP6's bumper mounted.
lca's are different because the bolt size is larger on the rear bolt than on second gens. the bushings could be changed to second gen bushings and then they would work.

Do you guys have any recommendations on after market cv's? My boot finally failed after 180k miles and thinking of swapping them out for new ones. I dont do much offloading these days but still uses the 4x for trips to the snow and some occasional rural job sites.

I’ve got a set of UCAs that I just took off my ‘23 with 430 miles on them if you’re still looking for some.
