Are wheel spacers safe?

    Electric Dynolock tailgate, TrailGear Slides, , 285/75-16 Yoko Geolanders on Wheelers Type B, SAW 2.0 front and back, Camburg b/j UCA, 1.5" AAL, Ubolt flip, ARB bump.
    If you get the Spidertraxx hub centrics they're totally safe IMO. They've come a long way since stud extenders and stud spacers.

    I might be a little wary of running them if you had a 35"+ tire but only a dedicated few even run that big on 2nd gens.

    i see my thread has been brought back... and it went from being not safe, don't do it, to its ok if you use hubcentrics and torque them properly.

    now its got me thinkin about getting them again

    I just put hub centric spidertax on my truck yesterday. Did a few neighborhood laps then torqued them down. Drove to work this morning (50 miles) and had no problems. Actually my truck felt a little better more stable less top heavy. No vibes nothing. My concerns about them are gone. Get them and enjoy. They look great

    i beat the crap out of mine (spidertrax). between wheeling and towing a 6000lb boat every weekend over the summer, they get a workout.

    here's some proof that they'll hold up. i think i was doing about 45-50 mph in this video. other parts that day i was hitting at 70. there are other things on the truck i'm worried about breaking before the spacers to say the least
