You know it all don't you. preach it to us. tell us how it is. I bet you think oil magically comes out of the ground and replaces itself lol

back on the real "subject" it does seem that the newer models are getting better mpg than the older ones but maybe that's bc they are older.

If you actually know how to drive, then yes, the window stickers are accurate. I average better mileage than the window sticker states. It's the people who race red light to red light, go 80+ on the freeway, constantly ride their brakes for no apparent reason, etc. who don't get the mileage that the sticker says they should.

Why are you so angry? I am just stating that if you were worried about gas mileage you would have made a smarter purchase. Cheers

I commute about 90 miles a day 5 days a week. My last 05 4 cylinder 4x4 access cab when new and bone stock with 245's on it really did get 24mpg average MPG quite a bit and that's driving most of my commute at 65-70 MPH. Then I put 265/70/16's with a relatively aggressive all terrain tread pattern (General grabber at2's) and it dropped to 21-22. I added an AFE drop in air filter and it would occasionally squeak out 22.5. The V6 4x4 double cab automatic I just bought hasn't broken 20 yet on the same commute. But it's pretty consistently been 19.2-19.5. Yes I would love to see the 21 from the original sticker and maybe I will with summer gas. But it's a truck. It's shaped like a brick and it's high off the ground. Even my relatively modified carbureted 85 5.0 mustang gets better mileage than this truck.

I am just thinking that when someone comes in and points out an obvious counterpoint to a complaint, your anger and rage cannot process it as constructive criticism and you become enraged and have to lash out at people. Personally I don't care, I just added to the conversation that it is a truck and I could care less what the mileage is and a bunch of closet prius owners came out to throw their purses at me. I am done here, good luck with your gas mileage. :D

I wish you selfish self destructive people could live in that private little world you think youre in. dont make me peel the sticker off your hat.

The sticker was adjusted for bad drivers. Read up on it. If you get sticker or worse you didnt release the brake or shouldnt be on the road. My LOW is 18mpg in the 4x4 6speed 4l. All hawaii driving on ethanol blend driving enjoyably.

Pure stock 2011 4X4 4 door. 3500 miles worse 15.5, best 17.8. I hope it improves with more miles. I would like to see it closer to 20 mpg. A buddy gets 20 in town and 23 on the highway, but I need to check to see if he has the 4 cylinder vs. the 6.
Waiting to see what happens on mileage before jumping into bigger tires with lift kit, but like the looks of the bigger tires.

LOL.....I would not have bought this truck if I was concerned about gas mileage.. When the weather warms up to over 60 down here, I am on my bike and the truck is mostly parked. I put on less than 6K a year on my 4 wheels and a little more on my bike....so I am fully prepared for $5 a gallon gas. the wife drives a 4 Banger Rav 4. No issues there with mileage.

took off my truck top "camper" to you southerners..
Surprised, last 2 tanks got me a solid 1.5 mpg better. I've been a solid 18.5ish since new last 2 tanks were edging on 20.
