    Loud as hell URD exhaust!
I did it every month for 7 years with my 2003 Tacoma and never had any problems.

When I didnt get a chance to offroad I would just drive it in a straight line for 20 miles to make sure front drivetrain got some use.

I do this as well but only for a mile or 2. I just like the components to move a little.

My worst tank was 14.5 mpg last winter with temps below 15F for weeks and much 4Hi action. My dad has a 2002-ish Silverado 3/4-ton 6.0L, 4x4, 5-speed (yes, not that long ago there was such a thing as a stick-shift Silverado). He usually gets the same mpg as me, but his worst tank last winter was 6 mpg. OUCH!

I'm averaging 150-160 a full tank all street driving. I feel that's only 10-11mpg. Been driving slow and leaving 20 min earlier for work and still no change. I can see needle move with a one way trip of 8.5 miles to work. I had spark plugs, cables, pcv and fuel filter replaced two weeks ago and still same poor mpg. I'd be happy with 13-15. But I just think something is wrong to only average 10-11mpg

Frank, this is not right with your MPG that low. I'm assuming it's a lot of stop and go? Stop lights? How heavy are you on the gas after a stop? These all play a major factor...you should be easily over 300 a tank for a stock Tacoma even with aggressive driving. Hell I'm getting over 300 a tank with 33s.

My last tank was 15+- MPG. I blame the softtopper, freezing temps and winter blend gas.

Best tank since owning it has been 18.0mpg, worst tank has been 16.1mpg, average is 17.2mpg over all tanks. This has all been Suburban driving with a 5 mile street 10 mile highway one-way commute to work each day. Worst tank was when the temps dropped to below 0.

For a truck it's excellent mileage I think. For the spring, summer, and fall I ride my motorcycle everywhere which gets 55mpg when I ride it like I stole it so the mileage on the truck is not really a big deal. :D

I've only had mine a couple of weeks but I've been getting 19mpg on rural raods. My last tank was 18.5 using a lot of 4 wheel. I did air up my tires a bit as a test so that may have offset some of my loss.

Yeah, that definitely isn't right. I'm still getting 15-17 or so, and my o2 Sensor is blown. You should be getting more than that, for sure. Are your brakes sticking? Dirty air filter? Clogged cat?

By the way, your sig pic made me laugh- maybe a little too much. :D

When I had my 2010 I got better mpg even with 33's and driving faster same route.

Now with this 2001 it's bad oh o2 sensor was also just replaced. I was thinking of trying seafoam or taking it to dealer for oil change and they usually recommend a service of something. I attached a pic so I'm almost at half a tank and have just 70.8 miles

Ooph, that does suck. Yeah, I'd run some seafoam like you're figuring, couldn't hurt to see what happens.

You should def be getting better mpg. My '99 made better mileage the older it got. Just under 200k I was easily making 21 and that was with a perpetual CE light and 32's. Somehow my 15 mpg doesn't feel so bad after reading this.

I even changed the gas I pumped to see If that made difference first two weeks I went with regular at Ampm and last two weeks I've pumped regular chevron.

Who buys a truck and worries about gas mileage..lol. I'm lucky if I get over 200 miles before the light comes on. But I'm sure that's due to all the stuff that I've done to it and I also drive the piss out of it.
