One can never have too many light bars.
The automotive market is so goofy right now. Yeah I can sell my 8 year old truck for 5 grand less than i bought it for when it was new, but all that extra profit would immediately go into a new vehicle which also has an inflated price. At the very best it will be a wash. If you are only selling because the kBB value is high than I think it's a bad move.

Home values are up to are you going to sell it just because the value ? Sounds like you are not happy with the truck to even consider selling it . Money doesn’t buy happiness. I get in my truck everyday and love it .

I think you read between the lines on my post. Actually I'm pretty content with my truck, no issues at all, not sure where you read I was unhappy with it, actually if i was unhappy with it, i would've already gotten rid of it. Also, my 2nd job is real estate so im well aware of the housing market, but homes are an investment, vehicles are depreciating assets, so its rare that you see cars not depreciating.

But if someone is gonna offer me roughly 8k above what I would consider market value, I'd be foolish not to consider it.

No...I am not itching to sell my truck. I like my truck just fine. It's paid off. It has 5 speed manual. It has NONE of that TSS crap and real keys.

My man great choice! Expensive seat (you cant put a price on your children's safety) but well worth it because it lasts from 9-120lbs. Had to get savvy with the carseat search because I didn't want to give up the manual plus I'm 6'3" so options for carseats are somewhat limited.

I'm planning to put both Dionos in my truck and move the other one into my wifes car for when they are in there since she has a bit more room

Quick straw poll of the room and all the manual guys are saying keep it and all the auto guys are leaning towards yes. :boink:

I'm just now getting it the way I like it! No way. That and 09 second gen, convince me anything newer is better. (Yeah I'm a touch biased I suppose).

Definitely this. All the work invested in my mods is my biggest deterrent to upgrading.

    Iv'e considered it..
    but I like it..

wanted a descent truck for a while..
I still owe as well, so really isn't worth it. would rather double payments and keep it, than maybe pocket a few thousand..and still need a vehicle.

I do believe used taco's will continue to go for a premium, tho..for a while.

    feeling peeps underestimating current situation.

Super nice and the coloring matches perfectly with the interior red trim and all. Not going to lie the seat weighs a shit ton (exact weight value) but once its in you're good to go. If you look lit the reviews on Amazon there are people who got in gnarly wrecks and their cars are smashed like tin cans where they said highway patrol said their kids wouldn't have survived without the seat. Take it for what it's worth but it's wild.

Only reason I traded mine in was to upgrade to 4wd. Traded in 2017 trd or with 50k miles on it for $1500 less than I pain in oct 2016. Got new truck at msrp but got 4wd and 6MT so loving it. 2017 was paid off so all money on trade went towards new truck so saved about 3k on taxes that way. For me it made sense. No way would I trade my truck now, it is perfect for what I need and I love it.

I could sell my house at the current market value and make 100k profit, but then have to spend all that and more to find a comparable place to live.

Likewise, I could make a profit selling the Taco, but I have no interest in buying a beater that doesn't have the same capabilities as what I already have.

Only time it makes sense to sell your house in this market is if you were already planning to move or you plan to downsize; anything else isn't worth the headache in this market

My wife decided (not me) holly crap, to try and find the new Bronco Sport and trade the range rover. We got WAY more money on trade than I would have ever thought BUT, the Bronco being first year model was 9k over MRSP and they weren't budging on the ONE they had not already sold. While we were speaking to the stealership, 3 other buyers were offering to take the Bronco. Its just stupid crazy right now. I will say the finance manager said the days of zero percent and no money down crap that just was popular with she said people with 590 credit is long gone. The banks and credit unions stopped smoking rock and demand is so high they moved rates up along with credit score requirements.
And NO I'm keeping my TACO, no way I could replace it right now and for what cost if I could find a new car truck I would choose with a chip :)

Starting to get a little bit of an itch to sell. 2014 access cab with 74k on it for background. Absolutely love the truck, but the access cab has always been an issue for me. I would really benefit from the full 4 doors, but would also hate to see all the hard work go down the road. Also, stepping into a newer used third-gen (that's why I am here not 2nd gen forum, don't bully me :)) might help with the next one down the road just having that much newer of a truck when it's time for that to go. Very conflicted...
