I thought the 2.5 gen would have been around for like 10 more years after it was introduced. 2016 Toyota could have thrown in a beer with every new purchase, and called it good.

Those 2nd gens still sell well today.

I like baby seats, since I bought my truck as a turned in lease that the original person couldn't keep on account of his having a kid on the way.

I still have a transmission oil cooler on my early build 2020 and my leather heated seats are just as hot as my 17 ones were...I also have apple car play and some sweet LEDs, also you can lift with TSS just fine, did so on my 19. But I get the love for the 17.

I've made the decision of not selling/trading my 18 manual for anything than a very appealing 4th gen. Preferably another manual and with a more powerful powertrain. If the new power train is similar to the 3rd gen then I wouldn't see the point of trading mine in.

But yes OP, I do have the itch but unless I was getting something quite older that I could have paid off. It's not worth it imo.

2 years in and not even close. Love this truck even more now than before- plus it’s summer time and the best time of the year to go exploring.

Tho I do sometimes want to drive something else but that just means getting a different car for my wife (which she also wants)

Bilsteins 5100s on the top setting, 4runner Gray TRD Pro Sema wheels, 285/70/17 Toyo AT3s, Sumo Bump stops, TRD exhaust, ECGS Clamshell bushing, 1/4 shim for the lean and one inch rear block, OEM Pro grill and garnish OEM TRD Skid plate, TRD CAI, Demon Brackets, Rigid Industries Pro fog lights, OEM Trail Rails sidebars, Diode Dynamics LED SL1 high and low beam lights, OEM Roof racks, Clazzio leather heated seats, Remote Start, TRD Pro shift knob, tinted windows, Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amp for the headunit and sub and amp combo, OEM Puddle lights, OEM tailgate lock, OEM bed mat, LED interior lights, OEM blackout kit for letters, JLT catch can, upgraded 27F toyota True Start battery, Vleds led tail light kit with Pro tail lights, OEM Rave4 side mirrors with convex spotters, just to name a few mods.
Mine is 3 years old, 20k miles, more mods than I can think of but I added 5100s, pro grill, pro skid, pro exhaust, Rigid lights, sema wheels, Toyo AT2s, LED headlights, heated leather, front cam, longbed and the list goes on and on. Looks better than showroom condition and looks like a factory looking truck, they way it should have come from Toyota. CarMax put $42800. Mine is paid for and better than new, drives and rides amazing, no issues and the KDMAX tune brings it to a whole new level.

That is the plan. US & Canada. It adds up quick. The truck alone was 35K

I would like a 2022 Trail Edition but I think I can withstand the stupid itch mainly because I really like the one I have . If it was an even swap now I would sign the papers just don't want to waste money .

I’m on my 8th truck, been driving them since 1986 — will always have a truck as long as I’m able to drive.

No, I really like my truck and there is nothing I would replace it that is currently on the market right now.

No way putting $1500 plus into my 2010 with 240k plus miles. Run it hard on dirt roads daily has never let me down yet. Only way I’m getting newer Tacoma is a hybrid, use for work and get paid mileage

Same, I was really wanting a T4R, then saw the prices and quickly forgot the idea of selling.

I do but only because I have another vehicle on order. Not sure on the timing but the Taco will be gone from the stable earlier than expected. I do like the truck. The only issue I've had was not with the truck but the A-holes who replaced the cracked windshield. I just spent three days drying out the carpet and padding in the front, and it is idle until it can get back in to get it corrected next week. Otherwise it has been a solid truck that still gets positive comments on the color from folks (Cav Blue).

I just got my truck in May. If I so much as try to look at another vehicle to buy my wife will threaten to start removing my body parts, so no, I haven't considered selling my truck.

Not for me, I'm a lifer truck driver, just came off 6 years on a '93 T100, just got 08 Taco 5sp/regular cab/long bed. It's got a bunch of goodies that I probably wouldn't add at this stage of my driving career, but it's all things I could have used in the past. Garaged since new, still looks pretty new.

I'm in the honeymoon phase, I love it. 133k miles, I'm measuring 25+mpg (I live on prairie).
