Mine does the same thing. After it’s been sitting for a while something related to the AC will intermittently chirp for about 5 minutes. Once I drive for a little while it stops. I’m planning on bringing it up when I bring it in for the first service.

    Absolutely love it!

Forum was the exact same way when I got my third gen in 2016.

My only two complaints are no memory seats/mirrors and the gas tank being smaller. But those are small concerns!

This should be a poll of owners.

I'm very happy with my 3rd gen after almost 4 years. It's met my expectations of what purchasing and owning a Toyota product can and should be like. If needed, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a 4th gen in the future. I would expect the same purchasing and ownership experience that comes from owning a Toyota. Until then I will continue to enjoy the crazy re-sale value of these trucks.

Crazy resale of the 3rd is accurate. I just got 36k for a 2020 TRD Pro with two accidents on the title and 50,000 miles. Took that and ran.

Heat has been addressed with the a robust cooling system. Reduced fuel tank size, but not range, I regularly get 350-75 miles per tank. Last tank was 381 and used 16.5 gallons.

Overall im happy with my 24 TRD OR but i do have several complaints. Additionally its seems to me like one of those vehicles with an engine that will explode between 90k and 120k miles so i will probably be lookin to trade it in when it reaches 90k miles.

I’m curious how you ended up solving the powder coat issues with your racks because the complaints on those were 2-3 miles long.

Any issues that we had were solved long long ago, hence the lack of any recent complaints.

Thanks for the personal attack, completely irrelevant to the topic.

    See you next Tuesday.

You seem to have fun coming here and complaining about your Tacoma. So, it’s seems appropriate to remind people about YOUR business issues.

We don't have any issues, they were easily sorted out several years ago, but thanks or bringing up the past, again.

So by your standards we aren't allowed to say anything critical about Toyota on this forum?

Your attack on Toyota is ok, but when someone reminds readers here that you fucked over some customers, that isn’t allowed.

Yet you and a few others that don't even own (or drive) a Tacoma come on here to complain. Isn't there an AT4X forum for you? Maybe sing up your GF to the forum to get actual feedback. I bet she LOVES the Tacoma especially since it was free.

Sorry for the salt but there are several trolls on this forum that don't own, have no intentions of owning yet they post daily about how the X (fill in the blank, Colorado/Canyon/Ranger/3G Tacoma) are all better than the Tacoma best blah, blah, blah.

I own a 2024 TRD Sport, I'm not a troll at all. I've owned at least 7 Tacomas.

I've owned a 09, a 16, a 19 now a 24. None of them were any previous. My 24 is 4 months old, no problems. I'd buy another even if I have a issue in the future. I'm sure Toyota address any issues and fix them.

First Toyota (2024 TRD Sport Premium) so far its really great - 3,000 miles so far . Coming from a 2019 Limited RAM1500
Here's my Pro/ Con List. As the list grows, I will add !
    Cons
    - No memory seats WTF ? This is really bothering me for what I paid
    - Cumbersome to switch screen from Android Auto to Sirius XM/ Toyota screen
    - Huge screen lacks a static portion for things like volume, temp, etc. (nitpick)
    - Back seats room is smaller than most of the other midsize trucks I test rode (Ranger, Canyon, Ridgeline, Colorado)
    - Not sure if I'm a fan of the composite bed yet. I don't do a lot of heavy hauling, but its been used for years so I'm sure it will hold up fine

    Pros
    - Ride quality is amazing, just as nice as my RAM
    - Quiet Cab
    - Getting 22 - 23 real world MPG's. Coming from an 8 Cyl this is sweet
    - Great low end torque
    - Interior styling
    - Exterior Redesign - I get compliments all the time.
    - Adaptive Cruise works great compared to some others I have tried
    - 14" Screen is great, just not laid out well and poor use of all that real estate.
    - Fantastic Camera System

Luv my Taco, although it has a couple of issues that can easily be corrected by Toyota. Unfortunately it's a $ game with them...

I'd say the composite box is a Pro.
