I see lots of you guys have retrofitted trucks which I plan on doing as soon as I get my group buy FX-Rs shipped to me.

Anyways I see lots of threads, a few install guides and what not but nobody posts pictures of the output. Even in Burt's projector thread nobody posts what they got from him, except for pictures of the lights themselves.

Or if you can prove me wrong, show me a thread with picture comparisons.

Anyways we all know how the stock headlights are. The ones in my 2013 are actually very good for halogen and I almost question why I need/want HIDs. Then I see cutoff pictures and those pretty looking projectors in the headlight and that's why! I also think the halogen high beam sucks, I never use it. Just fogs and low beam.

    This is why you retrofit.

Not the best of pics but better than nothing. They are FX-R projectors with Phillips 85122+ bulbs I have since upgraded to Osram CBI bulbs and highly recommend them.

You got those perfectly level!!!! Bolts or epoxy?

Could you take some more output pictures? I am interested to see the gap between the truck and the bottom of the lighted area without the foglights on

I used bolts and JB weld. I'll try and get some different pics for you when I have a chance.

You are the man! I see threads with just bolts, just jb weld, both and bolts with silicone.

How did you initially install them? I am asking around because I saw a video where Matt at TRS took the lenses off, left the assembly in the car, mixed up stick epoxy and put it around the back of the projector and pressed them into the headlight.

From here he had a few minutes before the stuff set to stuff the projector in and aim it to the marks he made from the halogens. Seems easy enough but some people said not to do it just incase you mess up.

But if you do it one light at a time, aim it properly horizontally and vertically I don't see how it's too bad of an idea.

Awesome! I had the minis in my focus that my girlfriend now has.

How big is the gap before the light from the mini and fxr guys? I am worrying with a headlight 38 inches from the ground there is a huge gap

Here are some crappie phone pics I don't think you need to worry about not having enough fore ground light. The middle of my head lights are at 43" tall and I don't have any problems. All pics were taken with the fog lights off but I did take some with them on for comparison if you would like me to post them.
