you may want to take up the whole "born again" thing up with my mom. She spent 23 hours in labor the first time, I can't immagine her wanting to go threw it a second time especially since I'm now 6" and 180lbs ... OUCH!

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
This is the stuff that always fascinated me about religion, the history and origin.

Jesus was tortured and crucified , hung on a cross , died.....and arose 3 days later ....all for the sins of you and me. You can have all of your sins forgiven , by just confessing that Jesus is alive today and he died for our sins. All of the things that we have done can be forgiven all because he has paid the price! Invite Jesus into your heart and enjoy life..We will all face our father one day , I'm ready - R U?

i believe in Karma and do on to others as you would have them do to you....im more of a scientific believer but science can prove everything up to the first molecule life. What put that molecule there cause nothing comes from nothing. Whether is some big old guy with a long bread watching up, or some supernatural form of SOMETHING, we as small matters of life can only guess. My views on the bible is that is comes from man. We as humans have rewritten over and over again the bible. I believe in somethings but i believe in many other things. I believe in doing good, and respecting my elders, minding my parents, and helping my neighbors. I dont believe in hurting people, or stealing stuff that i havent earned. I dont know if there is an after life or whats in stored when i pass away. I understand that matter is not created nor destroyed so when i pass my energy is transformed into another state of being. I have plenty of time left in my life only being 24 to figure out the rest of it, but im not to worried about it. I live each day as its own and dont take to many things for granted. okay im done now

The ten comandments dont say anything about not doing drugs. Does that mean its acceptable to smoke crack, shoot heroin, or do a little meth?
They dont say anything about using curse-words either so its ok to say fuck, shit, ass, slut, motherfucker, right? just as long as you dont use his name in vain.
Religion is great for people who need something to believe in.
I cant commit myself to someone who may or may not have ever existed. Just like I cannot commit myself to a book that was written ages ago by a bunch of different people, who may or may not have been truthful or accurate in their writings.
In my eyes, the bible may be a good read but its nothing to take too seriously,
its kind of like reading stories about the wild west.
Think about this: How many people have been killed because of religion?
I am not nor will I ever be "born again". I was raised Catholic but will never set foot in a church again. My children will be presented the facts about all religions and will be free to make their own choices.

rhodehard: im right there with you about not stepping foot in a church again, and i totally agree with you about the bible being written so long ago that it has been changed over the thousands of years. My parents thought the same about letting me choose my own religion, im not baptist-ed and dont see the point in saying i was dunked under water and now im pure (its not an instantaneous thing). but i look at my different religions and take a little from each and i feel im much happier now then when i was little being dragged to my moms Methodist church every sunday

Wait I think I need to commit some more sins before I can go and be reborn... Sorry doesn't work like that to me. People need to accept who they are and live in the bed they made.

i feel ya. i have no problem with those who have faith, and am in fact a little jealous of them, but the area we live in is hte damn buckle of hte bible belt. i honestly dont care what the message is, but being preached at sucks. whether its your pastor telling you about God, or your friend trying to tell you how much better their iphone is than your phone, being preached at sucks
