Welcome to Canada. Baby seat = Dad's lap while driving.

It was way less scary than I thought it was going to be. I walked out with very minor seat belt burn, pretty good I'd say for a 70 mph collision. It did deploy but I saw what was about to happen so I was just able to brace myself before impact. I think seeing what was about to happen and knowing that there was nothing I could do to prevent it was the scariest part.

i knew they deflated but i wasn't sure how fast
    x2

that feeling sucks big time, i got that feeling the first 3 months of driving, a minivan started moving into my lane with a 18 wheeler on my other side and traffic behind me.

SRS's save lives. Healthy respect. They deploy fast and hard. I've set of a few of them. Pretty intense.

Mehhh...that's why firetrucks have them hoses on them. Just spray it off to the side of the road.
