My set up has been installed over a year, hasn't moved. When it's torqued down you can't move the horns. But mines on a 1st gen.

Received my Tier 1 setup today and it's a great product. Unfortunately my plans are changing so if anyone wants to skip the wait DM me and I'll get these to you for what I've got in them...

Fascinating mounting method. I’ll have to look into this. How do you like them?

That is what engineers call an elegant solution! Also, that is the tidiest wire bundles I have seen yet.

I will have a different mounting solution as well. Once I get mine installed, I will definitely make a writeup and show some pics. I haven’t seen it done, but maybe it has been. Install pics hopefully coming tonight or tomorrow. For sure this weekend.

Just wondering... Did it require any sanding of paint? Or did you use the redundant ground terminals provided by Tyler?

For me.. installing in the grille area left like 15 points to ground to with the wires provided. That may be because I have done several mods, but realistically there is quite a few safe point to use without needing to sand anything.

As long as you bolt the bracket or the horns to a surface that has a good path to ground, you’ll be fine.

BART! Man, I received my packaged and was not expecting the size of those horns, the quality of the cleaning, painting, and fabricating! These were packaged professionally and felt like Christmas unwrapping all the packaging! I had about 30 seconds to look under my hood to where I will mount my Setup 2. It would be interesting to see the different mounting places each Generation placed them.

Thanks again Bart, super excited to get these mounted Sunday to finally hear a MANLY and POWERFUL horn blast from my Taco! Cheers mate!

Did you have to splice any wires to complete the circuit, or was everything simply plug-and-play?
