22 is better than 60 in Tacoma World...

Right, #60 and only about 30 horns - not good at all. Definitely wont be on this GB, might not even make the next one unless he can find another 30 sets of horns.

 

I was 75 on a previous gb.i got the part. Alot of peeps lost interest or didnt reply intime. Or didnt like the price. Keep your hopes up. This is the second round for being on this list. Forgot about it before and when payment came up i didnt have the cash to do it. Yrying to maintain to get it this time.

 

Yea, didn't occur to me that people on the list may back out, or not reply in time - first come first served, right? There is hope!

So, I just wanted to give an update on my setup. I was lucky enough to be a part of the very first group buy and got a 4 horn setup for my '96. I initially spread the four horns out where I could easily fit them - two in the engine bay, one right below the stock horn position, and one facing rearward on the frame. I wasn't really happy with the output because all four horns were pointing different directions, so I added another four and mounted them inside my stock front bumper using a piece of angled aluminum bar stock from Home Depot.

 

Very interested in this for my 2017, did you just splice into the stock horn wires to make it work?

 

No splicing necessary in most cases. You plug the spade connector directly into one of the horn connectors.

 

I was just saying that I needed to upgrade my stupid horn and came across this.

This is great, I did this mod on my 65 VW squareback a few years back after I had enough of the meep meep horn, it certainly gets peoples attention.
Good to know I can get some more for my "new to me" taco
