I'm 40, been riding my truck since November 2004. Truck will be passed down to my son who just turned 8. Don't pay no mind to what other folks think. Just love the truck!

I'm 63 and do trail construction for the Cumberland Trail so it gets used real off-road.
Got it after my wife totaled my 98 RAV4 with 135,000 miles. She felt bad, told me to get what I wanted. The other car is a Lexus. So when I pull in the drive I give the Lexus the finger . . .
oh, what was the question ?

49 here and soon to be 50. I have a 2012 DCSB 4WD Supercharged with a 3 inch lift. I don't think of myself as being that old but I understand what you are saying. It seems that there are more younger people driving Tacomas than us that are older and wiser. In my area (metro Atlanta), it seems that the majority of those in my generation that drive trucks drive full size. I bled Ford blue for over 20 years but after working for Toyota dealers for a number of years and owning several Toyotas, I doubt I would ever go back. This is my 2nd Tacoma and my next one will also be a Tacoma or possibly a 4Runner TE Premium.

I would of never thought of the Tacoma as a "kid car" it's practical. I don't understand.

I'm 48,got an 013 TRD OR DC 4x4 with 3in.OME lift, after market 17in rims, Goodyear mudders, shrockworks front bumper with a winch and I wonder sometimes if folks think I'm trying to be or act like a teenager, but I'm not. This is the best looking and only modified vehicle I've ever owned. I use the truck for hunting and I wouldn't trade it for a new one. I really like my tacoma.

I'm 63 and I use my Tacoma to slide by kayak in the back to go fishing and drink beer. These trucks are perfect for that.

37 here and loving the Taco. Sure, I was a little more comfortable driving my dad's crewmax Tundra but it's crazy to think just because you're getting older that you need a larger truck. There is nothing comfortable about spending over $100 to fill a tank (when prices are high) or maneuvering that beast around a downtown parking garage.

No, that's retarded. I see silver foxes in 15-year-old 1st gens all the time. I'm 49 and on my 3rd small/mid Toyota. It suits all my needs. I'm not a contractor.

Those who are obsessed with image of truck size have self-esteem issues, are weak-minded, and are prey for media and advertising hype.

Arches NP rangers have a Raptor for "big, tough, manly rescues," I guess. A ranger told me it always gets stuck and is basically worthless for the duty it was purchased. Thanks for wasting my tax dollars.

What? The Crewmax isn't your go-to vehicle when you need to park at Horton Plaza? I'm shocked!

Apparently Toyota wants to make it a "kid car" based on the 2016 Tacoma commercials.
Shit blowing up, jumping motorcycles, an ATV dragging a guy in a couch, running sand dunes.
I get that it is a take-off on the latest Mad Max film, but does the commercial
really say, "Hey, if you are twenty something, you need to drop 38 large and
get one of these." ? I don't know. What was the question again . . .
