    One must consider

    A. The frictional coefficient of a couch.

    B. Large furry suits impair your vision, dexterity, and may lead to heat exhaustion or stroke in the desert.

    C. You should really learn how to ride an ATV before jumping one with a chick on the back and almost snapping her head off on the ground on landing.

This was the first 3rd gen commercial I saw. My jaw dropped. I thought, what a bunch of motherfucking shameful retarded bullshit.

The 3rd gen forum has not proven otherwise so far.

    My thoughts exactly!

I'm 46, and I have 2 Tacomas. I plan to keep them both for as long as I can get into or out of them. My wife has a Tundra, and I like it- but I LOVE my Tacoma. Nothing irks me more than one of my co-workers thinking that an adult is supposed to drive a certain vehicle. I'll drive my Tacoma all over your Lexus!

Owned a 1990 stock Toyota p/u with a body lift and upgraded shocks while in college, 20+ years ago.

Loved that truck, used to go everywhere in the desert outide San Diego. Regret to this day letting it go.

Since then had Acura TL, BMW, Infinity, etc.

Then decided- i dont care what others think- i want to have a Tacoma- bought MGM- since it was same color as my Toyota P/u in college.

Wife and I loved that truck, and now my 2014!

I bought my first truck/Tacoma when I was 50, moving up from a BMW.

I'm 51 now and on my second Taco. :mudding:

Shwaa - ...............and THAT's why I left California baby. That backwards attitude. Your friend's buddy must have just turned 21 and it was the first day he set foot in a bar. He has lots to learn. Like Keith 'skier' said, you're hangin w the wrong crowd. Every other truck on the road out here is a Tacoma. Well maybe I should take that back, everyone buys American out here too. But what's American anymore, its all outsourced!

Great! thank God someone has finally come forward to warn us that we are all to old to drive mid size trucks. I think I'll go leave it parked it next to the border with the engine running. This sounds like a story that this Einsteins wife fed him while on the way to the dealer to trade his Taco for an SUV.

Nothing much. I haven't been bitten by the mod bug. A little plasti dip. And a set of Wet Okole seat covers with gun pouch.
If you answered this question, you are too old for that orange, green and yellow G - Shock that you wore 20 years ago. You are too old for most of the NIKES on display at the foot locker. You are, however not too old for your TACOMA. Just a little advice from the TACOMA GNOME

55 and have a Tacoma and a tuner wagon and both are too loud for the younguns raisin families driving their silent Oddessey vans (according to their facial expressions). They're loud to alert the mommies to gather up their little chickadees out of the street because the bad loud truck/car driver guy is coming (at blistering school zone speed or less) I go slower than slow just to garner as much chagrin as possible. 1st gear is loud at 5-10mph. Bright ass lights to be seen and loud ass exhaust to be heard......safety equipment FTW.

I'll be 50 on the 18th , don't feel to old at all . I had an 07' Mazda3 up until a year ago and I will say I felt it was more of a younger persons car , one of my favorites by far though.
