x2 - Some people are just harder on stuff than others and/or harder on stuff than they realize. Still using one of my chargers/cords from my 1gen iPhone.

I've dropped my 4 out of my truck at least a dozen times over the past 2 years. I slide it under my thigh while driving...sometimes I forget and it comes out with me when I get out of the truck. Some aluminum and plastic around the front screen is scuffed/chunked up, but the screen has never cracked or scratched. IMO, it's all in how the phone hits the ground, whether it be iphone or otherwise.

I won't be buying one for some time (want a truck waayyy more!) but i do plan on upgrading from the iPhone 4 to 5. To the comment about the screen being "short" in landscape mode (and ya I know you weren't serious) but it's worth noting that this is giving the phone the true aspect of 16X9 ratio that almost all HD videos are now being filmed/broadcast in, and that's why it doesn't make ANY sense to make the phone wider.

personally a feature/change that I really like is that they flipped the headphone jack to be on the bottom. I know not all of us use headphones a lot with our phones but i do and it's annoying to flip the phone around each time you put it/take it outa your pocket. Seems trivial I know but if you're using headphone as often as i do you'd get it.

I've often thought slimmer and lighter were kinda stupid at this point, my 4 is already really thin and light IMO but i do agree that once you put a case like my Otter Box or the Ballistic that I plan on getting with the 5 (when they make it as I'm sure they will), the phones can become a little bulky, especially in dress clothes.

I work for a certain company that sells iPhones/iPads just warning you guys launch days are CRAZY and full of idiotic fanatics. Pre order is definitely best because we will get 200-300 units opening day and usually none for a couple weeks.
That being said the argument between Apple and Android is annoying as hell and I do it everyday. They are both great platforms and are designed to appeal to different different types of people who want to do different things with their phones. There are pros and cons to both units.

All of my iPhone's connectors did this. Didn't bother me, it happens because fat lazy Americans don't want to take the time to pull the actual connector out, they want to yank it by the cord. Still going to buy the 5.

And you knock off your tough guy act as well.
There is no reason to waste the time preaching about how great Android is to Mac folks...and the Mac types are wasting time trying to change your mind.
Lets just agree to disagree and move along.
