    Finally got my shot! Augusta is opening up a ARFF Engineer position at Augusta Regional Airport. I've gotten fairly well aquainted with the chief so with working in 911 and that I hope I have a good shot at it. Closing date is Dec. 27th so ya'll wish me luck!

    I hope you get it. The best job I ever had in the Fire service was the Engineering position.

    Thats what i've heard others say. I know what the Engineer is basically responsible for but how much paperwork and desk jockying is involved?
