Re. your edit, Aries seems like they can't settle on a name for these. The mats themselves all look the same but the names and badge seem to change a lot. They were previously call MAXpider so they might be what you remembered.

Op those look great! I got the weathertech's and while they have done a 10/10 job of keeping mud/dirt/filth out of my truck the passenger side liner scoots around a bit and my back seat bunches up a bit and has a slight curl in the seat side behind the passenger. I suspect because they don't have those little Velcro like lining on the bottom. Still an upgrade from stock for me though. Do check back in after a few months, tell us how they are working out.
Good job @kdttocs, those look great

I have 2 sets, one for my Taco dblcb off-road and one set for daughters Jetta.
    Super easy to clean.
Another selling point for me is I like to drive in my socks on long trips....surface us a little rubbery and semi-soft with no ridges....feet are happy!

Pics of the grey colored mats, same shade of grey as grey inserts of Clazzios.

wow, love the clazzios matching with the floormats. Looks like it'll be hard to keep clean though.

I'm ordering a set of the Aries now from Auto anything. The price was $89.00 but I paid extra for overnight shipping. With tax the total came out to $103.25 ... Gonna make my girlfriend happy.

    Update-
With over a month of owning these, I couldn't be happier. Every dam time I get in my truck I look at these mats and smile inside. I haven't gotten them really muddy yet but not concerned being are some type of rubber and completely impermeable. To clean I would expect to do the same as any other floor liner - rinse off with a hose and let them dry, just as advertised. The texture does work well with wet shoes. Not overly slippery.

Also, they don't slide around. For extreme test I did not clip the drivers side in for a whole week. The below pick is at the end of the week of daily driving. They didn't more at all. So the same will be for the passenger side which doesn't have clips.

For those with a 3rd gen and wanting something that more looks good without sacrificing protection, there's nothing better than these IMO.

I sent Aries an email asking if they were available for the MT floor shape. They replied that they were out of the floor mat business. I noticed they are sale too (on autoanything.com). If they made them for my truck I would jump on them!

Aries floor mats, more to come...
I have the Aries in my 2017 and they have been great. I've had husky and weathertech both been great too but the Aries are cheaper and cover just as good and grip the floor better. Great buy!

Bummer. I did find out the actual manufacture is 3D Maxpider and the mats are called 3D Kagu Mat. Here is the manufacture link to the mats:
    http://www.3dmaxpider.com/product_kagumat.html

I found this site which sell them but at higher price. Bonus is they carry 2nd gen ones too.

Ordered these because of this thread. Have had both Husky and weather tech on priority vehicles so going to give these a go.

Is there anyway I can order rear piece only for my double cab? Do they sell it separately?
