    hey, i just moved back stateside from living in germany/afghan the past 3 years, anyone in southern arizona hunt and can help me get started? my compound bow arrives in 2 weeks, and i'm in the process of getting my license, i just don't have anyone to go with that know's the land and such. (i'm down at ft. huachuca but can travel.) any help appreciated!

    yeah, i'm in the army. my bow actually just arrived yesterday. it's a Bear charge with 73lb pull, nothing fancy... yet. but i'm down to hunt whatever, i prefer deer and javalina. if it comes down to it, i can always pick up a cheap shotgun as well.

    It is not very close to you but when I lived there I always hunted 7A-7B in the Williams area, just West of Flagstaff.....always got our deer and elk up there.

    i talked to someone and they explained the whole public land things and the laws. it's completely different then virginia (where i grew up and hunted). anyone up for cottontail hunting one of these days?
