They are nice if your not doing something stupid and being rude. Iv had a few encounters and have to say that they treat me with the same if not better respect than I treat them, which is being polite cause I'm the idiot they are just doing a job. :D

Hmmm - I've live in Scottsdale for 42 years. If there is one area of town with the most COP attitude it's Scottsdale...

Affluence does a funny thing to LEO's - Citizens that don't like certain activities take an active roll in local governance and then LEO's reflect that desired enforcement. Typically LEO's work only reflects the desire of the citizens that get involved in the system of local government - Just saying.

I lived in AZ for years and the LEO's that I have encountered usually were pretty cool - like a $5 fine for going 85+ in a 55 zone (mis-use of natural resource instead of a speeding ticket). Another good one was a "failure to obey a traffic control device" for speeding through a slalom course I made from a row of AZ's single leg 'saw horses' in a construction zone (not during working hours) Scottsdale PD on Scottsdale road. After he gave me the ticket he checked out the car and was pretty cool. I had hair nearly to my waist (not usually a good thing to most cops). I think LEOs usually mirror people they interact with. I know that may not be the case with all LEOs but it has been my experience. I guess my attitude when I get pulled over is "Thank god he didn't see me doing... fill in the blank." :)
