Nerfing is popular with desert racing. Typically you can't see behind you and with racing motors in your ear you can't hear them, so if someone behind you is running faster you gently (well, should be gentle) nudge them as a "hey, move over so I can pass"

The off roading is crappy in a full sized vehicle but on an ATV, dirt bike, mountain bike or from horseback it is beautiful with a lot of great scenery. I highly recommend checking it out!

Yes it was. In the 4th pic when I'm already sideways, I've given up and grabbing for the shoulder harnesses, HANG ON! Fall sideways from about 6' up. On to the roof and around to the passenger side.

I had tried a few times of straight up the far right hugging the wall, but not quite enough and getting light in the front. Shifted to the left and at an angle. Rear end diffed out a couple times. Got it over a few inches. Crawled up, right front got light, then set back down. Clawing away some, then light, bounced, and heading over sideways.

Propane is awesome; after that I still had to kill the ignition switch. Chilled out for a few moments, then braced against some tubing before releasing the belts.

4 of us tried to pick it up. Got close to the tipping point, but not quite. Took some thinking to figure out recovery options. Ran my winch along the undercarriage down the wash/trail to a small tree, then and rock outcropping to try and rotate from along the trail to across the trail. But they kept pulling loose. Then turned the Jeep up above around and ran his winch down the fall and up under the buggy. Got it rotated and pulled into the wall. Then pushed it over by hand.

Checked fluid levels, bumped the starter, then fired right up. Got turned around and pulled back onto the fall and hooked the winch up.

Right front "fender" tube got bent in during the recovery. Right rear down bar tweaked and the new taillight bar got crushed. And plenty of scrapes and gouges.

Then continued on to run Anaconda and Predator.
