Ran broken arrow up in Sedona yesterday morning. Surprisingly nobody up there except for 5 pink jeep tours.

Drove four peaks and camped out on Lake Roosevelt over the weekend. It was a lot colder than I was expecting..

@2dmay3 Four Peaks is 2wd friendly if you ever want to run it. My 4cyl made it through it fine.

Another out at Misquite Wash. Absolutely love this thing; It can go anywhere and eats up all the bumps ripping through the desert.

Few weeks ago I went up to my buddies cabin in forest lakes and he asked me if I wanted to drive out to a cool lookout spot. I had no idea what kind of cool views I was in for.. Also had some surprisingly challenging sections to get through that required 4lo. My friend told me he's never seen a truck get back here, only ATV's, UTV's, ect..

A few friends and I went to check out Ajax mine yesterday. Weather was perfect and there were some good views for sure. Trail was a little bumpy, and some wash outs were eating into the trail pretty good. The full size dodge used all the real estate available, from being squeezed between rocks in the wash, or hanging treads over the edge. His wife was not happy in those situations, but we made it none the less.

We made it to the mine from Superior in about 3 hours, stopping for pictures along the way. We also came up to a road block on one hill with about 6 vehicles all jammed up together with no pull outs available. From a distance we could see some smoke, we didn't know if they had engine trouble, or were stuck with a tire burning out on a rock.

As we got closer, we talked to the first truck at the bottom of the hill. Turns out they are with TRAL and we're doing work on the worst wash out. They had a gas generator (probably the smoke) and a jack hammer along with hand tools. They also had trailers to bring rock up the hill and fill in the big washout. On the way out we saw their finished work and it was quite nice (sorry no pic).

Once to the mine, we had a look around. Lots of concrete footings and of course the old hopper structure just hanging out in the middle of nowhere. If you look at the pics you can see there still is some action going on near the top of the hopper.

We ate a late lunch and headed back since the sun was falling quickly. We made it back out in 1 hour 20 min.

I can't wait to get back and get the truck out in the dirt. It has been mostly sitting in the driveway for the last 4 months and I have another ~2 until I get back. I bought this Taco a couple months before I got sent to this sandbox and only had the chance to do the back way down Mt. Lemmon which was probably a bad idea on nearly slick tires and at night with no aux lighting. Anyone have any good suggestions for where I can go when I get back (and get new tires)
EDIT: I'm in Tucson, so, suggestions near Tucson

Yesterday a few of us bounced around from Four Peaks to Butcher. Nice trail ride and a few good puddles to splash in.

Looking at getting tire deflators. What pressure do you air down too when out wheeling?

    20-25PSI IMO

Edit: I don't do any serious wheeling, so my number might be off compared to someone else.

Depending on the tire and terrain. If its rocks like Elvis than I drop my Toyos to 12ish. If its a mix of road and climbing like Turkey creek about 16.
