True. Just figured that a 4-10ish trip would still allow me to get some shit done on Saturday and not sleep all day on Sunday. Lol

I think @mmrocek is doing 4peaks this Saturday if you wanted to test out 4peaks. I think he's running with a couple new off-roaders.

 

Join us this Sat! The road was closed due to all the rain/snow and to prevent people from doing stupid stuff. Pretty sure its open at this point. We are going there this Sat to give 3 new offroaders an intro into 4wd of sorts, get out of town and let the dogs play. We will have a stock '16 4runner, '13 tacoma and '16 diesel ram 1500 running with us. Our guys will be in 2 tacos and 1 ram 1500, so 6 vehicle thus far. Message me if you want to join us. 4 Peaks is an easy drive. (Last time i was there to hike Brown's peak, there was a camry parked in the trailhead parking lot. The trailhead is about 15ish miles in... he must have driven reeeeealy slowly with perfect tire placement

 

The camry might have gone up the back side, it's much smoother coming up from the 188

 

Shit I wish i wasn't working saturday night. I could go sunday

Thoughts about going on Sunday?

 

What time are you guys heading out? I was planning on maybe going up very early Saturday and doing some hiking at the top with my wife. Have plans in the afternoon so I wouldn't be hanging around all day.

 

I could do Sunday morning but have to be back by mid afternoon. I'm free all day Saturday or Friday night as well

 

We're meeting up at the gas station at 7:30. Run will start about 8. Trail takes 3-4 hours.

 

Are you just going up Four Peaks road together?

 

Sorry, driving to tucson right now... yes, just simple drive up 4 peaks. For the 3 perps that have never offroaded. Nothing special. Picnic and let the dogs play at the top.

 

I get off work at 7am Sunday morning. I'd be about gassed out by noon haha

I work over night 12hr shifts. I think we're talking about 2 different trail runs though. I'm in Tucson, was talking about Chiva falls. Sorry for the confusion

 

Someone tag me for the Chiva falls run if it's still on. Iam almost finished with my front axle rebuild and want to take the Zuk out.

 

I'd be interested in tagging along at least for the ride up! When and where are you meeting tomorrow morning? My wife and I were planning to head up early anyway and do some hiking at the top.

I do not...

 

No biggie, you can borrow ours. You'll want to air down so your tires can get better grip and a smoother ride. It'll be pretty bumpy if you didn't.
