Here is some scenery pics from my recent trip to Millsite Canyon with @c jackson. I have no pics of the trail, it was epic tho!
Not for rookies or stock vehicles. It rained on us that day, the hardest on the shelf road up. This is a narrow road, very tippy, with tall boulders and some loose rock when you don't need any.
After the climbs, the terrain changes to hard pack dirt, and we took the spur trail to an old ore chute. We parked and hiked a little higher. This was the perfect moment after being rained on while spotting on the trail, the sun came out and pushed the clouds away. It was all down hill from here as we headed home.

Great day with @c jackson! We poked around under ground exploring some mines yesterday. Some interesting cart tracks and ladders in there. Even found an old power shovel at the end of one tunnel.

Then we ended up at a little Dam that you literally could drive off. We decided to use the winch and lower ourself down. This was pretty fun!

Took the wife and kids out today to Sheeps Bridge. Wanted to do a dry run for the Toyota meet. Had a great time, saw some...interesting...things on the trail. Will get a pic soon, but came across a car that looked like a split front axle abandoned on the road.

Most importantly, we had a fun, safe trip.

And here is the brokedown car. Maybe not an axel, but stuff was hanging down.

Despite the idiots it looks like you and your daughter had a good time out there. It’s sad that these people are disrespecting our playgrounds and others that are out to enjoy it with their family’s without feeling like they are in danger. Reminds me of the bulldog area before they fenced it off and banned target shooting, that place was getting way to dangerous to drive through. We went for a ride up Four Peaks and back Saturday and it’s getting to be the same situation. Between the quads, side by sides and dirt bikes flying around blind corners on the wrong side of the trail and the possibility of stray richochets it won’t be long until its unsafe as well. Between the trash people leave and the total disregard for others safety it’s people like this that gets our playgrounds closed.

Found some snow up near Payson the other weekend with the girlfriend, finally got to feel how the 5100s do off-road even if they were just muddy forest roads.

I've not been to the area you described, but there are so many places where the desert has become a dumpground for morons. Very sad.
