Hey guys, reposting this in the Arizona section hoping to get some more help here. Thanks to amaes, chris4x4, Masada, and jimker55 for responses in my other thread and for redirecting me to AZ forum.

I purchased a used 2007 Double Cab TRD Offroad 4x4 in mid Dec. So I've had it for not quite two months and sure enough a girl wasn't paying attention when backing out of her drive way and backed right into the drivers side door as I was parked on the other side of the road getting mail.:mad::mad::mad:

Anyway, now I've got to get some body and paint work done and I was wondering if anyone has had good or bad experiences with any of the local valley Toyota dealerships in Arizona.

I'm in Mesa and was considering going to Big Two Toyota, Earnhardt Toyota, or Tempe Toyota since they are closest to me but I really don't know much about them. Anyone got any stories or recommendations? While in there I was contemplating having the dealership perform the TSB suspension and potentially installing 5100's all the way around as well so any experience with those dealerships taking good care of Tacoma owners... like some stories I've read about the dealership just installing the 5100's at no charge because they already had everything taken apart anyway...?

    Thx,
    Ken

Well Progressive insurance is wanting me to do it at their facility in Tempe. I'm not sure about that... anyone heard anything about the Progressive facility?

For the last 6 years I've gone to Earnhardts for my trucks. They have a good collision/body work facility behind the COSTCOS on Arizona Ave. Always had a great experience.

The only shop I've had work done at closed or moved... can't find it now (tempe marketplace is now where it was).

Just note, no matter what the ins company says, you have a legal right to go wherever YOU choose, not them.

    Well guys,

I ended up taking it to Earnhardts rather than letting Progressive decide where it would be fixed. The Earnhardts paint and body work is all consolidated into their facility behind Costco and Earnhardt Dodge.

Everything turned out good in the end. Total was right at $1500 to get a new skin for the door, paint blended into second door and front fender, new rock chip put on the bottom of the door to match... all in all they did a pretty good job. I guess I would have to recommned them to anyone looking to get some paint work done.
