Prepare to be underwhelmed with tasteless burria and long waits. Maybe I just had a bad experience......
If this kicks off my I suggest backyard taco on the east side next time.
I love tacos and always on the hunt for tasty taco's!!

Yeah so I hit the place in Chandler to make sure this wasnt completely blind. The Street Taco I had was actually pretty good but the wait was awful as well. I mostly wanted to try Birria Ramen but man that was disappointing. Heres to hoping Tuesay night might be slow enough.

Problem Im seeing is that a lot of the legit Taco places have parking lots the size of tennis courts and/or are right next to a street.

Also the Chandler location is next to an REI and Hobby Action if anyone wants to do some dirt RC car racing after Tacos (they have rentals)

That's the one I went to also. I was super sad about the ramen.

Seconding the Backyard taco in Chandler. Big place with plenty of seating and a patio, should be enough for a reasonable turnout in the parking lot too, with some shade as well. Only been there once but it was good!

I was going to offer input as well ...

The Taco place at Kyrene/Elliot is in a small strip mall with very limited parking. I noticed there is a Taco Time at Elliot/Priest (near Hobby Action) with a large parking lot.

But that is just a parking lot evaluation, not the quality of the food.

Well Im all for switching if its what the people want. I was just trying to get the ball rolling with my initial pick.

I'd rather change it last minute and have people show up.

I had noticed they had parking behind the building which was my thought. It was still way more spaces than a lot of the highly recommended hole-in-the-wall's which had maybe 8 spaces.

True, the far-behind space is bigger than the front space. At least at 6:30 the UPS office has closed which makes that front parking all-but-empty.

I will concede to the masses.

Welp. Meant to update this earlier but my day was hectic due to a hitchiker in the work truck's tire.

In case you dont already, make sure to keep your tire receipts in the glove box if you buy from Big O tires like my boss did.

Anyhow. Enough votes for The Backyard Taco changed the location. Ideally wont change again.

Looking forward to hopefully see some of you there!

I will be hosting a Taco Tuesday meet in Tempe, AZ on Tuesday September 10th it will run from 5pm - 8pm, located in the parking lot of Rack Attack at 1245 W Elliot Rd. Tempe, AZ.

I have hosted many of these out in the east valley and the turnout is usually around 30-40 rigs. I will also have a local taco truck at the meet by the name of Tacos La Familia AZ and they make some really good tacos!

All 4x4's are welcome to come out, it is dog and family friendly!
