Can we get this going again on Jan 20th? We are hosting a bridal shower at our home that day, so I’m trying to disappear of course.

Yes. Jan 20th is the date I had in mind. Hashing out a few location details right now, as soon as everything is locked in I will post a new thread for our 2018 event.

Looking to do another poker run like we did last year only longer. Will be stock 2wd friendly. Possible BBQ at the finish.

It has gone up to $8.99 a pound. I will have to talk to the manager to buy it bulk and you I'll have to weigh and bag at home for a better deal.
Also my son needs to healed up to make the run in 2018. We have been by his side since August 11 and not doing anything fun without him till he can.

Alright, little update for you guys. I got a huge commitment today that I think we are all going to like. I wont go into details but I will say that the BBQ is on!

I have been working pretty diligently contacting some folks over the past couple weeks to hash out a few details that I feel could make this event even bigger and better than last years.

I will be posting the official event thread on November 20th giving us 2 months advance notice to plan, publicize, get time off, prep your trucks etc etc Considering the turn out last year where we only had 10 days notice I am anticipating that this event will be much much much larger than last year.

I will need some help from some of you to make this happen, preferably with some past experience coordinating trail runs but my goal is to have enough outside help that everyone will be able to participate in the Poker run. If you are interested in helping set this up please shoot me a PM.

Also, @mh.meier @2ndGenJonny and @olsin6 shoot me a PM when you have a chance so I can get you guys the early info and see if you wanna get in on what I have cooking :stirthepot:

I've been unexpectedly busy at work lately so I haven't had the time to write anything up. I'll try to get a post up tomorrow with better information.

I really need someone to step up to run the thread on here. Handle things like the head count and updating the thread and what not since i just don't have the time i thought I would have to keep a thread updated.

As of now tho the plan is as follows:
    • Jan 20th 9-10:30 AM Starting time
    • All Toyotas are welcome.
    • Poker run style
    • Sheeps Bridge via Seven Springs road.
    • BBQ at Sheep bridge provided by Traeger beginning at 1pm
    • Camping is on an individual basis but there is plenty of it.

Never been to sheeps bridge, or 7 springs. They going to be prerunner friendly like last year?

I can run the thread if need be, might be better for someone who knows those trails though.

I’ve organized most of the SC meets for the last couple years. I certainly have the time if you need help.

Sweet! You, Ryan, (my) Ryan and I should go grab a beer here soon and we can talk about it! I've set up a ton of events in the past so I know how much work it is and I don't want to neglect it.

I know I can handle the backend of it all and the Poker run aspect of it I just really don't want to be the face of it this year :anonymous:
