Yeah, different options were asked about earlier. The reason they can offer these at the pricing they do (which is pretty killer for what you end up with) is there are no variables in the production, everything is the exact same. When you start adding options, cost for all options will have to go up and lead times will also have to go up.

    From earlier in this thread:

Well, the biggest issue with the 30" lightbar is that we couldnt make it universal because of lack of room. As you can see with the 20" version, the brackets can be slide wider or narrower to accomodate nearly every light bar. There isnt enough room between the shackles to do that so the universal aspect would be shot.

Also, this keeps things simple and easy to replenish.

Was able to get my stage 2 ordered today.

For those of you that I've seen weld them up. I plan on doing the same. Are you welding them up before you test fit? Or what is your process?

Having gone through building a stage 2, I would weld it up according to their instructions (i.e. with the bumper on the truck and you fit it to the truck.). The way they've designed these is really cool, but there is still a fair amount of play in the fitment.

Here’s another update on mine. The bumper is complete, winch installed, light bar installed, didn’t have an extra hand to help mount it up, so final install will have to wait till tomorrow. One of the things I chose to do different is: I welded shut the slots for the light bar mounting. I welded up the brackets to be permanent for my size light bar. and stage two is 100% welded. Coated in 2k aerosol Raptor coating. Great stuff, kinda pricey. But we’ll worth it.

    Stage 1 complete.

Going to cut and start on stage 2.

Any tips from anyone who has done stage 2 / bumper cut?

My advice for stage 2 (particularly the cut)...measure twice cut once. :D Seriously though, follow their instructions and take your time. I don't know why but cutting for the bumper was no big deal, cutting for the stage 2 had me a bit nervous (normally cutting in to a vehicle doesn't bother me...it's all replaceable.

I check my measurements a bunch for stage 2.....remember when cutting through fender flare you will also cut through bumper hold that line
and your fender flare cut will show so take your time......

Got to put the bumper to the test: Hollister SVRA, CA. Bumper stage2 makes a huge difference while still on stock suspension:rofl:

Still deciding on the bull bar.

I also have the stage 2 in box, but I don't think I'll install it. I think this serves my needs better.

Also... KC C series was able to squeeze in there. It's not rubbing the winch, but it's close.

Also, I think I got the wrong size shackles.. gotta double check. there's about 1/2' play side to side on them.

If you're looking for opinions... I vote "yes" for the bull bar. I'd also recommend holding on to the stage 2, as I would suspect you'll eventually want to install them.

Those look like the proper 3/4" shackles to me. There will always be play in them (you don't want them tight). Order these isolators off of Amazon. They work great and keep them from rattling around.

The 3/4” shackles definitely have more play than I’ve seen on other bumpers, but the isolators do help a little.
