    It just too bad that a metal just as strong as steel (twice as strong as aluminum), weights 45% less than steel, while 60% heavier than aluminium, resists corrosion in sea-water, has good abrasion resistance is so darn expensive. It is the 7th most common metal and 9th most common element on earth. You guessed it, I speaking of titanium.

    RCI sometimes throws in catalytic converter guards for free with a transmission skid. OR just buy the catalytic converter guards from one of several vendors ... Miller Cat is just one.

    I got the three skids from bamf. The scratches and dings all over them suggest I made the right call. Even with the dclb, I haven't put myself in a position to need the sliders. Very grateful for the underbody protection, however.

    +1 for Sliders as #1 mod

    Protect the radiator next would be my suggestion- from impact below and from the front. Then the oil pan.
