Armorlite washout floor coming for Tacoma

Install day today. Went pretty smoothly aside from when I cross threaded one of the bolts holding in the front seat and proceeded to snap off a thread chaser in the mounting hole which led to an unplanned side quest. All good though and I’m loving the look and feel of the new floor. I’ve got two kids and a dog and keeping up with cleaning the carpet is next to impossible. I’m excited for the new setup!

 

Interesting that 2 people who posted about the install struggled with cross threading a seat bolt.

Will have to definitely store that caution away for when I do my install!

 

Yeah, take your time. It was definitely me not being careful and hurrying. Get the front bolts started loosely, go the back, start those bolts, then return to the front to tighten fully, and finally return to the back to tighten those down fully. A little bit of patience and care will save you unnecessary work/headaches.

It's now been over a month since I ordered and no shipping estimate yet.

May be a great product, but I'm about ready to cancel my order..

They also had a note on the order page stating 'end of august' ship date- now that is gone too..

 

Call them? Might be more willing if you complain over the phone!

 

Looks to be a quality product!
Here's hoping for a Gen. 3 access cab (auto.) edition!
