IIRC, the primary gain is noticeably more noise.

Mine came with the factory cold air intake :). $800 if I recall correctly.

Now I’m curious. The snorkel package includes the cold air assembly? Considering the amount ($800), seems reasonable.

Technically, all Tacomas have a cold air intake.

Yes, you are correct. Perhaps I should of elaborated. There are a few differences between the stock cold air vs. the upgraded TRD cold air package. The latter is what I inquired about.

I have. TBH, no perceivable change. Granted, I have very low mileage and did install it shortly after getting my Taco. I was just looking for sh!! to do while being on COVID lockdown along with the rest of the world.

    Yes ... easy install.

Thanks for the heads up. The chrome handles don’t bother me as much as everyone else, but I will give these a try.

So my end goal is I want to be able to explore on weekends (hitting up small trails in the midwest nothing big or fast) while still using this as a daily driver.

Tires: KO2 285/75R16 Looks like there will be some rubbing. Will the items I have listed below prevent that from happening?
UCA SPC: On the UCA I have tried to do some research on which ones are good and which ones require a lot of maintenance. Any advice on different brands for UCA?
    Top Plate Spacer
    Icon Add a Leaf 1.5

Dumb question but with the UCA and top plate spacer up front and the Add a leaf in the rear will the truck be level?

I am trying to narrow down my inventory because My AG Tacoma has a production date of August 31st and I want to add all these items within the first week of owning it. :)

As far as the UCA is concerned, I went with SPC because it's adjustable and greaseable but I know a couple people that run ICON & Total Chaos UCA's.

With the spacer and the add a leaf, you just have to leave the "bottom" leaf if for it to be mostly leveled.

Replying to a post back in June...
Today I received word that my Army Green Pro has been built! Right on the date I was told it would (Aug 5). I have a suspicion that I might have one of the last Army Green TRD Pro Tacomas built. And yes, the VIN starts with 5. It won't be ready for me to pick up until the end of August.

I plan on getting them. Not sure how I feel about the front being higher from the photos I've seen

I think it's a great option and my local Toyota dealer installs them. The only thing I don't like about the kit is it does appear the ass end tends to be dragging a bit. It is either dead level looking or slightly lower in the back. Maybe just add an extra 1/2" shim in the back?

I've looked at those, but I wonder how the preload would impact the ride and performance of the shocks. Does anyone know if the Pro's coils are progressive, linear, or digressive?

I just got this and will have some pics up in a couple days. You can buy the front only and do something else for the rear. The kit they have includes a 1 inch block I believe. I went with the ICON 3 leaf progressive add a pack and I took out the overload for about 1 1/2 inches. The ride in the back is great. Possibly a bit softer driving around the city. Haven't pushed it yet. The front is sitting a bit higher than I thought but will hopefully settle a bit more soon. The ride seems good.I will take some measurements and keep you updated. With Pics ;)

The 33s are awesome. You notice the lift immediately, they are dead quiet, and your gas mileage shits it’s pants. As god intended.
