They still have white and black Pros every model year and maybe another I’m missing. But the 20 exclusive color is AG. Bad ass color to. I’m envious of all you guys. Still love my cement though....

Funny you mention that. Cement is my favorite Tacoma color. I have MGM. Love it, but if I ever wanted to trade mine in I would get cement or this green. I love it. But I don't want/can't afford a TRD Pro.

Yeah the Pros are certainly up there in price. Yes, don’t get me wrong, I still love my cement but damn it’s a close call with the AG. Let’s put it this way, if something were to happen to my cement taco and I needed to get a new one, AG vs cement would run non stop through my head of which to get lol.

However, AG will go down to the lower trims starting MY21. Something to consider if you really wanted that color.....Take care.

Normally, whatever color is for the TRD PRO, the flowing year is a common color for other trims. So I am assuming for 2021 with Lunar Rock being the new color, AG should be a new color added to the Sport and OR. We'll see!

Congrats on the new truck! I spent about 3 months searching for mine also. Still can’t stop looking at this color.

Hi All - This is one of my favourite threads to lurk in since joining TW...

I really like the AG color. - Since I was a kid, I've always admired the Green Land Rover Defenders. They represent such a classic adventure vehicle look. Certainly not a common color in modern cars... very unique - and the Tacoma wears it quite well!

I am now actively in the search for a PRO (as I am close to arriving in the USA from abroad).
I am in the hunt of a PRO with a manual. - It seems I may have to wait for a '21 since it is so late in the year...

A bit of insight from this AG group's experience please... - what has been common in the PRO world (PRE-Covid) regarding pricing relative to MSRP?
What WAS a good discount to shoot for - if any? I understand that MSRP may be the best in the current environment...

Were discounts always difficult on the PROs in 2019 / 2020?

I hope I can get lucky and join this bunch!... Thank you all in advance!

Hopefully AG doesn't end up like Cement Gray where you can find one almost on a daily basis. I liked having a rare color lol..

I ordered mine a year ago and it arrived in February. Happily paid MSRP. I was hearing reports of some dealers asking 5k over MSRP for AG Pros.

I think most paid close to MSRP. A few people posted that they saved $1,000 or so off MSRP or got some add-ons for free as part of their deal. Some markets like CA had to deal with excessive markups like MSRP + $5,000 or more.

A lot of the answer to your question about pricing will be relative to region and color. Typically, Pros have much more limited discounting than other Tacoma models if for no other reason than there are fewer of them. Toyota USA normally excludes Pros from their discounting. The limited edition colors - AG for this year's Pros - are also going to see lower discounting...and in some regions/dealerships a significant dealer markup. Another factor will be the volume of vehicles the dealership sells - higher volume equals more vehicles. The smaller dealerships will see fewer Pros and, maybe, only 1 of the limited edition color. That was the case for mine.

I think most of us paid MSRP, some were able to get some discounting. In my case, I was able to add a significant amount of options that the dealership covered - about $1700 worth - but paid MSRP.

If you are not hung up on the limited edition color for any year, you have more chance of getting some amount of discounting on a Pro.

Are the even offering Pros in Army Green for 2021? I know other models can opt for AG, not sure on the Pro. Lunar Rock is the limited color for 2021.

Must be your area. I never see Cement around here (PA). I see my color, MGM the most.

I have only seen one other AG here in the mtns, I do know there is a few down in Colorado Springs and a few in Denver. AG is one of those colors where you either love it or not so it just might stay being a rare breed on the road.

There are two types of dealers Ones that charge you MSRP for TRD pro and others that charge extra. I was pretty fortunate that I actually got a AG manual transmission two weeks ago but I had ordered it in early July

Finally! Live in Cabo, flew to Dallas to buy truck, drove to Southern California for a couple days, then drove down to Cabo San Lucas, MX. Over 2700 miles in 8 days. So happy. B445566D-CB29-43B0-8124-A1A318D59E2C.jpg
