So, I am enjoying my truck and all. however there is one tiny little concern I have. Tonight I went to take the trash out so I went thru the garage and all of the sudden I realize that there is a "whirling/mechanical pump" sound in the garage. Initially I thought it was the house heater, but internally I was thinking to myself "nah, it to high of a pitch", so I start listening closer and following the sound and it lead me to my left rear fender in my truck, I get down and its the loudest by the fuel tank. At that point I'm like "FUDGE". Last time a used the truck was on Sat night, the fuel level is at 1/4 full. and I have not touched the car since Sat night. I grab the keys for the living room, I don't turn the car completely on but I do press the button to accessories. then turn it off and sure enough the "high pitch sound" stops. my question is if its normal for the truck's fuel pump to activate itself without the car necessarily be on or the keys close by (btw, I do turn off my fob every time I'm not on the car, idk why but its a habit for me)

I would say it's probably the evaporation system. I think it is a matter of pressure and not a timer that triggers the system.

Who has purchased the raised letters for their tailgate? I am looking at getting some and wanted reviews from trustworthy people.

I originally went with what I believe were the Toyota letters and they looked good but the black shading was slightly off.

I switched to these that I purchased off Amazon and I think they match the TRD pro emblems better but they are just a tiny bit smaller than the Toyota letters, however they’re aluminum vs the rubber type material on the stock ones

Swapped out the softopper for a diamondback cover. Added a roof rack and some lights. Happy with the progress, now I just wish the OV guys would release the updated 2.0 performance tune..!

I went with Tufskinz. I got the matte black domed version. They are high quality and I would recommend.
