Wonder how much a whole new Pro Grille assembly will be with the garnish etc?

Cheap bro, the knock offs are almost identical if not same supplier, $300 or less for everything. But the 2020 grille is pretty nice too. I think a retro army green sport build would be so uniques and way cool, do it. Don’t be a TRD bro.

It’s definitely going to be the AG, but definitely a Pro Grille as all the ones look like fencing. I’ll do the same retro decals as I have now on it.

Good to know. I heard someone saying that the first round of Pro Cements were a different shade from all subsequent Cements. Don't know if that was actually true or not but it got me wondering if that was the case of the AG because of how different the colors seem in different photos.

Do a Google search. You'll find that 6V7 Army Green was the same color for the 2014 FJs and is listed as the touch up color paint code for 2021 4Runners and Tacomas (I just looked at those 2). It does seem to have different shades depending on the light...but it's all 6V7.

Finally finished making my own tailgate cutting board, not perfect but a little time and a piece of 1/2 inch plastic came out ok. Plastic cost about 90.00 . Had fun trying yo figure it out.

I wanted an army green Tacoma and it was only available in the Pro and I already have a 2018 Quicksand Offroad in manual. Both of my 3rd gens have front and rear lockers and manual transmissions and the 2020 Pro has 5.29 gears. I didn’t ruin anything. I had to replace the Pro shocks and struts but I got alot of money for them and replaced them with King coilovers and shocks, all with remote reservoirs. Jealousy is a stinky cologne.

I'm entertaining the idea of trading mine in on one. I really am digging it more than my cement now.

How are you liking the 5.29? I have them in my garage but I haven’t had them installed yet. I don’t plan on going bigger than these 285/75 but I’m also waiting for OV tune 5.29 tune.

I just bought a pro a month ago and paid 3k more than that sticker. I am not sure if overrated is the right word.

honestly, I would have gotten a pro. Just by the time I decided I needed one there were no AG PRO 6MT trucks I could find anywhere. (And I tried pretty hard)
if your not going to mod it, or load it down with armor and tents, the pro is worth it I think.

just overrated, if your going to mod it anyway.
I honestly dont even feel its really over priced or anything, and a good choice for a lot of people.

but if you know your going to mess with suspension, tires and a lift, its totally not worth it (from a financial standpoint) is all im getting at.

For some people there is still value in having the pro even if they modify it. The pro badging holds some value for some people.
I'm not trying to knock those guys, it is a valid view also.
nothing wrong paying for a bit of bling if that's your thing.

Can you snap a picture of the inside? I bought a used softopper and I'm having trouble getting the rails to sit flat. They tend to lean into the truck bed when I start to tighten things up. I ordered another set of clamps and that seems to have helped.

As it stands the end of the rails towards the tailgate lift up and so it's not a tight seal.
