I put about 10k miles on the taco now since early September, again I’m not an expert on trucks in general, and I normally drive sports car but dam I get more compliments on this truck than all my other vehicles... mainly due to the color. Here’s more pictures! I got an ikamper coming hopefully March time with their new updates short bed fitment :)

    I'm 4k, loving the ride.

Are you referring to the x-cover mini? I've been looking forward to them releasing that since I saw the review on LLOD

Yea, the hard top fitting over the short bed. Are you gonna run a diamond back? Or just open bed with rails?

Open with a bed rack. I need the cargo space. I had a tonneau on my old Tacoma, but I'd rather not deal with it this time around.

That’s dope, I wish I can too, there’s too many play haters out here in Los Angeles I would get my shit jacked within seconds if I had a open bed lol

Understandable. I did like that security factor, but I just stash my gear in the back seat for now. I use my bed often (just helped a buddy pick up a new gunsafe yesterday) and fitting two 13' kayaks under a tonneau was a hassle. I was constantly removing it to accommodate furniture and other large items (love how capable these small trucks are). The old Leer tonneau got more beat up by me taking it off and putting back on than it ever received on any trail.

Those Diamonbacks are pretty sweet, though. If I were to get another one it would be that.

I'm loving my tonneau. No way to open it unless the tailgate is open. Coupled with the tailgate locking kit and tailgate seal, the bed is all but hermetically sealed.

Love the Tacoma/M3 car combo. I assume you have ample parking space for both toys.

In his wallet or garage? @xkyo23, I wish I had an M5/6, but the M3 is one that I've wanted since I was about 12.

Thought there might be one in Apex at Hendrick - but turned out to be a Sequoia Pro. A friend who know I was getting an AG messaged me about it thinking it was a Tacoma but confirmed it isn't.

That seems to hold true for my pre-VIN. My first two of the last six are 04 which aligns with my original build date of 1/27.

You may already know this but you can got to Toyota's Vin Lookup and it will give you the specs on your build - no date of build, though. Mine worked last week but today I get an invalid VIN notice so I assume a real VIN has been assigned to my truck - the projected build date is 1/22.

So I think I might have finally got it to stop rubbing with 285/75r16 KO2. I know there’s some other people who don’t rub, but that wasn’t the case for me. I had to heat gun and trim some plastic, along with cutting a tiny piece of the fender. I think the cab mount is clear though.
