Mind if I ask you a question? where did you get the green TRD badge in the green colorway thats on your grille?

 

How did you find out that they filled your order? I am waiting for mine to be built.

I don't own a tacoma (yet) - I just come in here to check out TRD-ED's signature GIF

 

I told my dealer a week ago that I was continuing to look across the country for the truck I wanted and to let me know as soon as they know anything. I got a call today saying Toyota filled the order today and he would have a build date in the next week or so. Might be smoke up my ass, but I’m going to call them in a week and keep bugging them until they give me some more info.

Ok, I know what he is talking about. So on the 20th of every month the dealer has to put any special requests in and see if Toyota will accept it. It usually takes 1-2 weeks to find out if they accept the build. Then it takes around 2 weeks to find out the approx. build date. I placed mine on order in January and once everything was done I was given a build date for the end of April. I will say keep your fingers crossed. My dealer (who I have bought multiple vehicles from) also told me that Toyota will be slowing/stopping the Tacoma and Tundra being sent to dealers. Apparently they are doing this because of the supply and demand as well as having problems with getting materials. I don't know how true it is since I did not get the info from Toyota Corp.

I got the badge when I ordered the roof rack from upTOP overland, link here, Theyre made by Tacovinyl I believe. They've got alot more option on their site.

 

Can't go wrong with black wheels! Everyone has black, but I feel bronze/dark copper will work well with the army green color.

Thanks! Yeah, I rolled my 09 in January, and knew right way what I wanted. Figured I’d deck it out and save my hands from installing more seat heaters. Also with little ones, leather is easier to clean.

 

So I just finished my first mod in installing N-Fab cab length RS Nerf Side Step Bars. Very easy installed, took less then 30 minutes and did it by myself (the dailly push-ups I've been doing paid off). First on done and many more to come. Tomorrow my tail-bed lights and Rigid SAE Fog light show up, so more pics to come. Also, my soon to be 4 year old GSP approves. Steps are mostly for my wife as my truck didn't come with them and I don't need them. Also they do add door protection, which is needed here in South Florida from other people who don't know how to park and don't care about their and other peoples property.

 

Picked up a trailer today to haul my mowers, the UTV and ATV and dirt/mulch. Went with a 6X12 steel side Belmont.

 

Got a build date and vin! The wait continues
