Damn, wish I would have waited for the coupon. I went full price. Oh well, i like them. Came packaged like a tank, and super easy install. Looks great.

 

Finally got a chance to go try out the new suspension and tires.

 

Did you buy OEM TRD Pro tailights? Ive noticed on Ebay the OEMs go for around $300. The same ones that arent OEM's cost like $100-120.

Having bought aftermarket non-OEM headlights before on my previous car I know the plastic quality is terrible. Where did you find those tails? they look like quality ones.

This is a time when I want multiple like buttons for a post. Nice. Was wondering what was different about your truck, then i see you have no fender flares. I gotta say, it looks pretty damn good.

I agree completely on the chrome, but I don't like the clear outer layer either. The answer for me was to "downgrade" to the SR5 tail lights. (See avatar.)

 

I agree with you, I am not a big fan of the clear outer layer myself. I thought about replacing the tail lights on my 18 White Taco but I actually like them more than the "pro" style lights w/the clear layer. Who knows, a couple of months down the road if I get tired of these new clear layer taillight on the AG, I may offer to trade them to someone with a new SR5.

In the RYB (red, yellow, blue) color wheel, used by artists, green and red are directly opposite each other. A perfect contrast, then, for an Army Green truck would be to have all-red tail lights. All that the clear outer layer, or the chrome, does is distract.
