Mounted my maxtrax. Finally. Nothing new for the taco anytime soon but in the next few months (once this semester is over) I should be posting a real nice picture of the taco with its new canopy :D possibly a lift and new shoes too

Decided to let my Taco off her leash over the weekend. Moonlight Offroad Park. Truck can do more than I had nerves to do.

Really debating on a small lift now which I had no desire to before. But 1" would go a long way lol.

I've been looking at pictures for a few days of the Army Green Taco's. About to pull the trigger on a 2021 TRD Sport Manual AG. My dealership doesn't have one on the lot so I need to bring one in.
Question. Some pictures show a darker deep green, and some show lighter faded green. hard to tell what one is more true to color?

    here are 2 examples.

that's the beauty of the AG, it seems to change tone depending on the time of day, and light. Mine sometimes has an evergreen look to it around dusk, but during mid-day it reverts back to the olive drab type green. All tacos seem to do this to some extent, but not as much as the AG. I love it.

My truck gets that too. The guy who checked us in at Moonlight was drooling around my truck. My wife was looking at me like "wtf". She won't ever get it cause she still thinks the color is ugly.

Yep - color is always changing. Never seen anything like it. My wife is a little jealous over how AG lights up my world! Lol

The shade of green varies with the amount of sunlight and other factors. It's never the same and it's never dull.

I've got one on order and every now and then I see one in a certain light and I think "oh did I pick the right color?", and then a few days later I see another one in different light and I'm all, "Yes this color rocks".

I like that it is unique but not in your face unique.

I had the same thought when I was going through the buying process. At one point, I almost opted for a Lunar Gray Pro, because I thought the green looked too dark in the showroom. So glad I didn't. I've received nothing but compliments. had one guy outside Home Depot stop and walk around my truck (while I was in it). I hopped out and he said he'd never seen that type of green before on a truck, and loved it. I personally dont like the extra attention, but I'll take it with this.

Problem now is I'm starting to see more and more AG's in my AO now. The uniqueness is wearing off, lol. Oh well.

Finally got my CBI bumper installed. Love the look of it. Cleaned it up today too since I had the day off.

i think Toyota classifies the Army Green 6V7 color with their Dark Green color, it is especially similar in the shade and so reflective of the surroundings-- the hood seems to disappear in the shade and then lighten and blend in with the road while driving in sunlight-- so very cool..

the AG is such a wicked color and really stands out amongst the 10 million Dark Grey and Silver Tacomas here in Northern California

(added camoflauge seat covers for the front seats just to mess with my lady )
Glad we waited for the Off Road and passed up on last year's Pro model, these trucks in a base model with Basic Technology and a couple of easy modifications are wicked

I give some of the guys I work with rides home sometimes. We finish when it’s dark out or close to dark most evenings during the winter. I’ve given three of them rides lately this spring when it’s light out later and they were all confused because they thought my truck was black! I love the different shades of green it looks:D
I’d say it looks closer to the second pic you posted on the regular IMO
In shade w/ the right light, it almost does look black
