48 hour progress update: I removed the Predator steps, chrome badges, and the big plastic cover on top of the engine. Also took the opportunity to do my first official “truck stuff” as a bona fide pickup owner, haha!

I’ll post another “before and after” shot next week after I get Line-X on the rocker panels… that’s about as far as this “build” is going to go!

Truck twin!

I used my wife's hair dryer and nylon thread to get the badges off, then rolled up the remaining adhesive with my finger (worked better at ambient temp than heated up) and got what little remained with Goof Off followed by a little isopropyl alcohol. Post more pictures of yours when you get your changes made!

Gorgeous truck! Are those letters on the tailgate white or chrome? They look white on my screen, but so does the V6 badge and I know that's chrome.

 

Thanks man …. Supposed to be silver letters but they are really close to white. Turned out matching the TRD in the bed stickers pretty good though.
Silver/aluminum is the official color
