Army Green thread: let’s keep it green!

Alright. My manual AG trd sport, DCSB comes in Monday, I’ve got it narrowed down to two different wheels.

Either the bronze 17” 4Runner TRD pro wheels or the gunmetal gray 17” 4Runner TRD Pro wheels, wrapped in 255/75/17 cooper discoverer AT3 4S tires.

Seen a lot of bronze trd pro wheels on the AG tacos but not many gunmetal. Anyone have the gray 4Runner TRD pro wheels to share?

 

I’d like to see that myself. I think the gun metal TRD wheels will look great on the AG taco - better than bronze

 

I wanted Lunar rock, they tell me now after three months waiting that suddenly it isn't available, but i call B.S. , because my friend just got it and he ordered it at Gail Toyota in Enfield Ct, i ordered from Balise Toyota in West Springfield, Mass.

 

What sucks is i have accesories to go on a Lunar rock colored truck, now what do i do with them, if the truck is black, install them anyways and not care.

If that's the case, the dealer might be receiving an allocation of a black one that closely resembles your specs and trying to close you out ASAP.

 

I would talk to other dealers, some get more allocations than others. I had the same experience, had to go to another dealer to get AG with a MT.

 

Awesome! Also making the switch from a basic 2016 Tacoma sr5. Have two AG options to consider - a fully loaded off road or a base sport. Leaning the sport route because that gives me like 6k to make me own.

 

Just ordered mine from this dealership. No Tax and No Shipping. All 4 shocks $336 total.

i was in a similar situation. Decided to go with the loaded off road. The things I thought I could care less about turned out to be the things I love most about the truck. 4WD, Leather, heated seats, sunroof, JBL stereo and led lights are really sweet! Take your time and weigh it all out.

Yes they probably are but i really wanted Lunar rock.

 

Figured I’d stop lurking and post my green machine. Currently looking for a new cap and fighting ARE. Been on for two days, roof leaks bad from top rack rail bolts, both side window frames metal not joined so they leak, center flip down window frame bent / missing two bolts rivets. And just an overall bad fit. Like it’s warped or something and bows out in middle and back

 

If you plan to offroad get the OR so you get the locking rear diff. You'll be glad you did.
