    I may just roll the dice and make sure I get them back as well. My only question now - is there some form of software delete that will deem them inoperable? Just in case someone with their hands on my vehicle wants to be a jerk. I’ll have a talk with the service manager either way. If they must remove and put those covers on, then leave everything else alone that has to do with my fog lights.

    I had them install the TRD lift prior to taking delivery. I was nearby for work during the install time/period and stopped by. I knew about the fog light delete and asked the mechanic what he was going to do. He was going to install the delete caps and I asked him not to. Nicely. Just told him I would re-install if he did as I didn't want him to get in trouble with his boss. He just left them alone and I got all of my parts that were replaced when I took delivery. I don't remember now, but there was a list of states where they had to be removed. Illinois was not one of them so that helped.
