Yeah I've been debating on whether I want to do this. I'm not sure if it's worth $350 to me to save the bumper but I hadn't thought about making the install easier so maybe it is worth it. Thanks for the suggestion.

What's the invoice on that bad boy? Did Toyota charge you $10K for a spacer lift and pro wheels?

 

Very nice. My 2020 4runner Pro was AG I traded in. My friends thought I was nuts for doing that. Lol.

 

Msrp was 43k and that's what I paid. Worth every penny.

Trim model? What upgrades does it have?

 

Tacoma trail edition....... plus.....Factory lift (includes bilstein shocks and new front grill to adjust radar and blacked out trim), pro wheels, trd exhaust, roof rack, center console gun safe, and blacked out badging.

Flame away I really don't give a shit. I love the truck and I feel it's worth what I paid.

 

You did good man, that lift alone is nearly 3k. I’ve been tossing around getting it myself but Toyota requires the fog lights be removed when it’s installed. Craziest crap I’ve ever heard. Some dealers allow you to keep them but I’ve already been told by my dealer they had to be removed if they done the work. They’re good but by the book. I’d rather not take it anywhere else. Good thing you got to keep yours. It has something to do with raising them up and blinding other drivers, BS I say.
Again- damn nice truck with tons of big money extra. Those who know - know.

 

Thanks. lol. The trail edition before dealer add ons had a sticker of 38k. The dealer add ons added 5k. I think the extra 5k is worth what I paid for what i got. The console gun safe fits a full size 1911.......i do use it from time to time. Keeping the fog lamps......dealer made me sign a waiver

 

No that was somebody else, I’ve done nothing but applaud the purchase. That’s a good price, especially in todays market.

 

From what I understand the fog light removal and blank out plates are a state by state thing....My dealer in New Hampshire was able to leave the fog lights in place when the factory lift was installed.

 

Good to know. I guess I need to check and see what the restrictions are in Georgia. My dealerships service department had actually never heard of it when I told them it may be required. They told me they’d call me back after they looked into it. Called back and said - “If we get that kit on-site and the installation instructions say to remove the fog lights, we have to remove them”
That’s when I just decided not to get it. I’m not losing those LED fog lights. I don’t want them touched.

 

They should give you the lights back. When I had the lift installed they left it up to me if I wanted the fogs removed and they gave me everything back they removed. shocks, U bolts, grille, fog light filler plates etc.

 

Same here, I sold the shocks on craigslist for $200

 

If they take them out get them back and put them back in

 

Good deal, I may reconsider? I thought I could just walk away and not think about it anymore but I get on here and always end up wanting it again. Ha
