Nice job! I've been wanting to replace my decal also. I haven't because I hear the factory decal is a real PITA to fully remove because of the adhesive. How did it go for you?

 

Better question. Where did you buy it?

 

I peeled the decal off pretty easily. Once I got a corner up I just slowly pulled with 1 hand putting weight on the decal. Little goo clean up after and it was perfect

 

Badass decal! Wonder if you could get the offroad riding in orange. Would look sick!

I know a guy who does tint and other vinyl wraps, I ordered it online and just had him install it because I too didn’t want to deal with the headache . Lots of good videos on the YouTube worth watching before you dive in. I heard heat gun and lots of goo gone help to remove the sticker and leftover adhesive.

 

Yeah orange would be awesome! I ordered it from a website called “Beyond Wraps” and they offered it in black and red. Maybe if you emailed them they could work with you to print an orange one. Super nice people over there.

I'm gonna give it a try. I want to replace the factory decals with black TRD and bronze for the off road part of the decal.

 

what do u all clean/detail your fender flares with on PRO and OR

 

I went with a black decal to match the rest of my blacked out badges.

Plays well with the way this color behaves in different light. Sometimes it really pops without being too colorful/gaudy and other times it's so subtle you almost can't see it

 

Just got my tonneau put on that i kept from the ranger. It juuust fit! It was a hair narrow and a hair on the short side, but it will work good enough for what i use it for. My ultimate plan is to get a soft topper down the road. Had to order the brackets for bed rails, but they were cheap, got them through etrailer. Also had the bed mat from the ranger, got it trimmed up and it fits like a glove! Next up is to touch up the D6 dominator side steps off the ranger and order the mounting brackets that fit the Tacoma. They did a great job of protecting the rockers from chips and door dings from errant door swingers so I figured I would re-use them. They looked great on the ranger, and I think they will look even better on the tacoma.

 

Love how your truck looks! What tail lights do you have? That is one of my must have mods. I think the dark/smoked tail lights look perfect with the AG color.
