Army Green thread: let’s keep it green!

Yeah. They aren't offering AG in the Taco at this time. If I had to replace mine the bronze color would be my go to color as well. And about $50K sounds right. It's a shitload and more than what they were when we got ours. Then again, what doesn't cost a shit load more these days?

 

luckily I have new car replacement on my policy. The person that hit me has a policy that only pays 25k max. It was her fault. So I’ll be getting a 2024 Sport 4x4 but I really didn’t want this. I loved my army green truck!

 

I can’t believe THIS is totaled even though I get a 2024 out of it, it’s still a huge inconvenience… plus, she lied to her insurance company and said it was my fault because I stopped in the middle of the hwy for NO reason. My dash cam proved otherwise and her insurance company immediately revised it to it being HER fault

 

I hate when people don't take responsibility for their actions and instead have no qualms about screwing somebody over without a worry.

Did a quick detail and wash since the weather finally broke

My truck has been a dirt pit all winter except a handful of washings.

 

Looks like a nice ass house, man! Love that new craftsman style.

Solid Memorial day weekend.

 

Been wanting a high clearance rear bumper for awhile. I ordered one from Bay Area Metal Fabrication back in October, powder coated it last month, and finally installed it this past weekend.

It is a little scary taking an angle grinder to my truck. Took my time with the cuts and I am very happy with how it turned out.

This bumper has cut outs for the 4 parking sensors, and reuses the stock license plate lights. There is a tow hitch hidden behind the flip up license plate.

For the 2" x 2" cut outs I used the new C1R light pods from Diode Dynamics which have a red, bright red & bright white mode. Their harness connects to the existing trailer harness, allowing the bright red to activate when you brake and bright white in reverse.

 

Washed the AG truck and used a ceramic wax on it. The cloudy day helped.

 

Me parked next to a couple of Magnetic Grey Taco's that stayed for Fourth of July. No Question Army Green all the way.

 

Just got the BFG KO3s installed after 80k miles on the KO2s, I could have made it through the end of summer but have a couple trips coming up and figured I’d do it before those. That picture is dark so it’s kinda hard to see, I’ll get another shot in the sun.

Anyone have these yet in any other size? These are 285/75/16 which I had on before and yes there is very minor rubbing at full lock in reverse or when pulling into a driveway at a decent speed but that goes away as the tires wear.

 

80k on KO2s?!

 

Hell yeah! Proper alignments and rotations do wonders! Also that’s mostly highway mileage but regardless pretty pretty prettay good!
