Thanks for accepting my idea, the humor works! Will take a look at those decals, maybe some accessories when the vendors catch up with Army Green. Don't want anybody saluting me, including with one finger, so will keep it understated, just want a second glance, hopefully an admiring one.

The first is a product called Liquid Lustre. It was one of the original products seen in the first infomercials back in the 80's.I bought some to try and have used it ever since - not as a wax but as a scratch repairer, tar, bug and even paint remover when someone opens the door into yours. As a wax it is mediocre but used properly it will help blend our scratches and take off tar, bugs and paint residue. Be careful on plastic - especially when you have sharp edges because it will take the paint down to bare plastic if you rub too hard.

    http://www.liquidlustre.com/

I remember the Infomercial. Lit lighter fluid on the hood, spray paint, crayons grease, etc. It was a bit of trickery for sure with a paid audience but entertaining.

Hit some FS roads today to test for rubbing while off-road with the new tires. Only had it happen once when headed downhill so that makes me happy. Hoping to install OV tune sometime this week and then get to the black interior door handles and sound deadening.

Keep us posted on how the OV tune turns out, I'm interested in that myself. But the acceleration bands makes you feel like your riding a 2-stroke dirt bike.

Will do! I kinda hate the “turbo” feeling of it now, seemingly no power until you hit that golden range and the truck takes off like a bat out of hell. I was hoping the tune would spread some power out. I’m also tempted to do the 4.88 swap as well. Nitro gear is only about 2 hours away and I was thinking about contacting them to see if they could do an install if they have a shop attached.

I cut mine loose for $300 for a set of 4, tires only. I feel like the guy got a pretty good deal but they weren't selling and I was tired of storing them. For some reason he didn't want the spare for an extra $50.

Perfect! Well done! (I'll be after one of those upon moving to the US...)
Do you mind sharing the details? (How much MSRP vs paid) or will you post that on the relevant sticky thread?

Welcome. I bought the same truck with manual tranny. That truck didn't come out of Memphis did it? Was waiting on one to come in when I found mine in Shreveport. Memphis dealer called a few weeks later.

I posted to the relevant sticky thread. So you don’t have to go searching, MSRP was $45,658, paid $44,000 for it.

Put the AVS Aeroskin 2 Hood Protector on today:D Almost messed it up. Left a strip of tape underneath but I realized it and was able to get it out and it fits perfect now! Only 55 degrees today so I heated the hood up with my wife’s blow dryer so the tape stuck good
    Now some tires are next!

Anyone here in the Seattle or Portland area and want to show off their truck? My 18 pro was just considered a total loss after getting hit while parked (probably by a drunk driver, they rode the scene). Payout was enough I'm looking at new ones, just haven't seen the green in person.

Sucks to hear but at least no one was hurt. I’m in North Bend, just outside Seattle but work in Bellevue if that works. I had reserved a white pro but a couple days before I went to pick it up I found this thread and the more I looked at green, the more I liked it! Think I got one of the last green ones available in the state before the shutdown.
