Electric is hooked up and now I can get serious about the Whynter 62 quart fridge/freezer which has been sitting in the garage for a few months waiting an install. I could not find one that fit my fridge and hated that $300 plus for one so I got a set of 200lb slides and went to the local welding shop to fabricate the rest of it. All told, it came in at about $250 and took me a few weeks of work to make sure I put it all together right as well as painting. Best of all the fridge/freezer meets all the expectations. I put some water in the freezer compartment the night before and had totally frozen bottles of cold water at the dove shoot (we needed it as it was in the high 90's).

Plenty of room for what-ever I need to put up here (climbers for hunting). Got the axe and shovel holders as well. Truck is now completely de-badged also. Baja Rack decal is the last one to go.

I wanted a separate area to keep all the cooking gear (stove/utensils/pots/pans, etc). One sheet of plywood, two 2X4’s and some screws and with my inherited grandfathers carpentry skills I got it put together over a weekend. Took a few days to paint up right and fits like a glove in the back. Somehow I hit on the exact color for John Deere green a few years back for painting the tree house in the back and thought it would look good for the box also.

Set it up to check things out. Was going camping this weekend with the wife at a campground near Guntersville and weather forecast was all storms/rain (tornadoes ) so put it off. Have a archery hunt with Jackie Caudle (Pro ASA archer) down near Selma in a few weeks and will get a good shake-down cruise with all the toys (sans the Relentless bumper and skids I am still waiting for) for four days with my son and another friend. Really looking forward to it.:D

Thanks, just need the skids and front bumper to really finish it up. Not going to any of these meet-ups till I am fully equipped. Too much nice stuff to mess it up in the woods without the right gear.

Got a new project to pour money into. Thanks to TacoSkeet for a good trailer. Will be fixing it up to put the tent, fridge and other items in. Like putting the tent on the roof of the truck and will still have that option if I want to use it. Best of all, Toyota hubs and the tires are the exact same Bridgestones as I have on my truck.:):):)

Went for a 5 day archery hunt in Lowndes County, Alabama this last weekend. Put on by a friend that is a Mathews rep and pro shooter on the ASA circuit. Was the shake-down cruise for the Tepui tent and all the camping gear. A full load-out of everything and dropped my gas mileage to just above 14MPG. That said, the truck rode great and figured out lots of little things I need to do for future trips. Brought back a 90lb porker which I dropped off to have processed. Missed a shot at a deer after I stood up and doe number 3 was still behind me and blew up the shot at the other two in front of me. Had a great time although I need to add some kind of heater for the tent. I was perfectly warm in the sleeping bag but it got down in the 30's which made for cold changes into the hunting clothes.

Putting it together with all the good ideas is not that hard when you have tons of good ideas on the forum. My pocketbook is killing me though!:D

Patient like a vulture on the wait. Eric really needs more help to push out his products - http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/re...ad-whats-new-current-builds-faq-s-etc-65.html I told him to move here to Huntsville (I need a new career). Must be deja vu as I was thinking about Emailing you last night but got busy. Did you see the new trailer??? Going to get some tabs welded at my friend Gary's tomorrow to start the bed cover, then a frame for the tent, then tailgate and then fenders. Got it all organized and plotted out and actually hope to finish it up by December.

It looks like you had a real nice setup for the archery hunt. I think the trailer will be a nice addition/transition for some of the gear to make it easier to drive away from camp for a little bit if needed.

Let me know if you want to put the grille on or when you get the new bumper in.

    Starting to work.

    Bed cover lips.

Trailer Cover Construction. Decided on wood so I would have doors that can open from back and front on the top. Maybe will weigh a little bit less than metal also. Streamlined the front.

    TrailerCover1_456e009d4da90eab9958fa41c9ce776944e0efd8.jpg

Tent Frame. Major project out of the way.:D Have 30" linear actuators to raise the tent up so I can open the doors on top (24") and be high up enough to avoid the critters (possible shooting blind:)). Tent frame will sit on top of the doors and keep other critters out.

    This weekends projects.

    Lock and Roll Hitch

    Linear Actuator Brackets

    LinearActuatorBracket2_2859a4bcf69f426ef6bfcc0994890d660d36f825.jpg

Dropping off for fenders next. Could try to build them but our welding skills are minimal although after the tent frame I am sure we could do them. Saving enough dinola on all the other work to afford them.
